The name TAMATAN comes from my childhood nickname that I continue to use even now.
I was always called by my family name until I moved to Hong Kong in 2000. I started to be called by my given name, Tamami, more frequently.
In Japan, most people are called by their surname, but I felt it was too formal, so I decided to use the nickname TAMATAN as my company name. I wanted people from all over the world to call me by my first name.
